Good Morning America is moving its set from Times Square to Hudson Square in New York City.
That building hosts many shows for ABC and ESPN, including 20/20, GMA, Live with Kelly and Mark, and more.
Before the show left, Michael Strahan did a walk around the studio for one last time before leaving.
“The final walk at GMA Times Square studio,” he captioned the post.
“Time to commute downtown.”
Fans shared an outpouring of support for Strahan’s move in the comments of his post.
“New Beginnings! Can’t Wait To See The New Studio!!!” one fan said.
“That was great Michael! Onward & upward,” another fan said.
“Sending love to everyone on GMA,” a third fan said.
“I can’t wait to see your new facility,” a fourth fan said.
“Ok so when can I visit the new studio,” a fifth fan said.
GMA debuted its new studio during Monday’s episode of the show.
ABC News chief meteorologist Zee has new screens for her and the climate team to report weather from.
There is also a brand-new kitchen area for segments that involve cooking.
Michael Strahan’s NFL career

Michael Strahan is one of the most recognizable faces on television.
But he came into his media career with Fox off the back of a hugely successful stint in the NFL.
Strahan spent 14 years all with the New York Giants from 1993 to 2007.
He was a seven-time Pro Bowler and helped them win the Super Bowl in 2007 – ending the New England Patriots’ hopes of a perfect season.
Strahan was also a two-time NFL sacks leader and also won Defensive Player of the Year.
The ex-Giants star set the single-season sack record with 22.5 in 2001 – a feat which was matched by J.J. Watt exactly 20 years later.
He is one of the best defensive stars to have ever played the game – finishing with 141.5 career sacks and 854 tackles.
A spacious area for guest interviews and other large segments has been included in the set design.
Of course, Strahan, Robin Roberts, and George Stephanopoulos have a massive desk to do their reporting from.
On the first day from the studio, the GMA family imprinted their hands into cement to commemorate the move.
“That was really fun!” Roberts said.
“Let’s hand it to our producers!”
