My experience with a wild deer in the wilderness proved this to be true in a way I could never have imagined. I had been on a solo hiking trip in the dense forests of the Pacific Northwest, drawn by the promise of solitude and the serenity of nature. I loved the peace that came with being surrounded by towering trees, with nothing but the sound of birds and the occasional rustle of leaves to keep me company. But what was meant to be a peaceful hike quickly turned into a nightmare.
