Joy Behar, who famously once had sex with a ghost that may or may not have actually been Aubrey Plaza, has taken umbrage with The View cohost Ana Navarro’s revealing attire at the Hot Topics table.

As the stars weathered Friday’s episode while down a cohost in the absence of Sunny Hostin, Behar singled out one-fourth of the panel at the top of the show.

“Hello, everybody,” the 83-year-old said, while Navarro appeared to struggle in her seat.

“Give me a minute, this dress isn’t easy,” Navarro said, adjusting herself in her seat as she shifted around in the getup — a crimson dress that was cut low enough to show off both of her shoulders.

Behar turned her attention toward Navarro’s fashion emergency, asking, “Where are you going in that dress?”

Navarro replied, “I don’t know, but I can’t wave, so I’m doing a penguin wave.”

She then tried to hoist her arms up from the Hot Topics table, which proved to be a herculean task given the limitations of her attire.

Behar then quipped that Navarro looked like a Tyrannosaurus rex, and then artfully segued into a Hot Topic that saw her bring up Kristi Noem shooting and killing her family dog.

The View has a storied history with fashion blunders. Notably, a debate erupted at the table over whether or not one of Hostin’s dresses was a penis or a “piece of corn,” while moderator Whoopi Goldberg once took a pair of scissors to Alyssa Farah Griffin’s incorrectly worn, multi-holed shirt live on the air.

Clothing isn’t the only thing that has raised eyebrows at The View. In June 2024, Hostin debuted a new hairstyle that shook the table.

“It gives Bond villain and I like it!” Griffin told Hostin of the new hair, which she maintained was inspired by an actress.

“I actually was at a party with Nicole Ari Parker, and she came into the room with hair that looked like this,” Hostin said. “I felt like the room shifted. I was like, ‘I want that.’ I sent a picture of her to Matthew Yates, my hairstylist, and he said, ‘Say less.’”

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on ABC.
