Joy Behar is celebrating another birthday on The View with some classic comedic timing.

The comedian, 83, held her annual birthday tag sale toward the end of the Tuesday, Oct. 7 episode of The View, as she attempted to sell off her personal clip-on earrings and gave a candid reason as to why she still uses clip-on jewelry.

“In honor of my 39th birthday, it’s time for my annual birthday tag sale. And because I’m such a giver, every one of you can get in on the fun because we have some personal items that belong to me and my co-hosts,” Behar said, before introducing her personal donation to the tag sale.

“Now, I have a fabulous collection of clip-on earrings. Whenever I see them, I buy them, because my holes are dried up,” Behar joked, prompting laughs and giving a cheeky grin.

After Sara Haines wished the fellow panelist a “Happy Birthday,” Behar finally revealed her Oscar de la Renta clip-on earrings, which she apparently bought at a yard sale from a couple who were getting a divorce. “So touching, isn’t it?” she joked, as Haines added that they “carry luck with them.”

“If you get these, you might get a divorce, so it might be worth to buy them,” Behar quipped.

It wasn’t all just laughs during Tuesday’s episode of The View, as Behar revealed that proceeds from the tag sale would be donated to one of her “favorite charities,” The Retreat, a nonprofit that provides safety and support for victims of domestic abuse.

Behar also got some birthday love from her other co-hosts, including Whoopi Goldberg, who joked that Behar turned 23.

“You know, 25 years ago, or whenever it was, I was on the show with Rosie O’Donnell. When was that, 40 years ago? She said, ‘Tell your age.’ I said, ‘It gives me vertigo.’ So, can you imagine the vertigo I have now?” Behar said.

“You make it look good, Joy,” Haines added. “I would own that and fly that flag.”

During her Tuesday appearance on the Behind the Table podcast, Behar said she was “enjoying herself” during her 83rd birthday. For last year’s celebration, Nathan Lane surprised Behar on the show with a pizza deliveryman stripper in honor of the occasion. He explained that since Behar “is still a hot Italian woman,” he “ordered Joy a hot Italian pizza,” who performed a Magic Mike-style striptease.

Behar then thanked Lane, adding, “Where’s my pizza?”
