“Today” host Dylan Dreyer and her estranged husband, Brian Fichera, have officially offloaded their longtime marital home in New York City, almost one year to the day after they listed it for $2.5 million.

Eight months after putting the property on the market, Dreyer, 44, and Fichera, 38, announced they had separated—with the “Today” star sharing the news on her Instagram account, where she insisted that they remain “the closest of friends.”

In the time since that announcement, the former couple’s apartment—where they raised their three sons together—was delisted, before appearing back on the market for the reduced price of $1.99 million.

Now, records indicate that it has officially sold for the even lower price of $1.8 million, meaning that the duo has taken a $500,000 loss on the property, which they purchased for $2.3 million in 2016.

Dreyer and Fichera bought the two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo just a few months before they welcomed Calvin, the first of their three sons, in December of that year. They later went on to have two more boys: Oliver, 5, and Rusty, 3.

Although the “Today” host did not publicly reveal why she and Fichera had initially listed their home, she had previously hinted that the family was outgrowing the space—which they had already had to customize to accommodate all of their kids, by creating an impressive three-story bunkbed in the second bedroom.

The sale comes just weeks after Dreyer revealed that she has officially quit New York City life in favor of relocating to the suburbs, following in the footsteps of her “Today” colleagues Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.

Dreyer has not shared the location of her new abode, however she has offered a few glimpses inside the property, posting multiple pictures of her family settling into their new life on her Instagram account.

She also opened up about the bittersweet process of leaving behind the home where she and Fichera had raised their kids together, sharing multiple images of the boys’ room over the years, as they updated the space to fit all of the children.

“This room holds a lot of memories and I thank God every day for each and every one of them,” she wrote, before going on to share a quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson: “A house is made of walls and beams; a home is built of love and dreams.”

She concluded her post: “And the boys have a whole lifetime of love and dreams ahead of them! Just not in a triple bunk bed!”

The condo, which was built in 2008, sprawls across 1,491 square feet and features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the lush landscaping of Battery Park below.

The expansive living room has elegant oak wood flooring, and the chef’s kitchen offers a chic and minimalist design with gray cabinets, modern appliances, and marble countertops.

The dining room can accommodate 10 people.

The bedrooms are “generously proportioned,” the listing notes. The “oversized” primary suite features a “five-fixture bathroom complete with Crema Luna limestone floors and tops, Waterworks fixtures and teak cabinetry.”

In addition to the amenities found in the unit, the apartment building itself also offers residents the use of a number of communal spaces, including a children’s playroom and an expansive rooftop.

The listing description notes that the building boasts “an exceptional suite of amenities, including a 24-hour doorman, sky-lit indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, state-of-the-art fitness center, children’s playroom, and a 7,000-square-foot landscaped roof deck complete with commercial-grade BBQs, a wet bar, and private cabanas.”

Before listing the home, Dreyer had previously hinted at plans to move out of the Manhattan condo, admitting that the space was no longer a suitable fit for their brood.

Still, she said that they would continue to make the home work for as long as possible, revealing in January 2022 that her family was determined to utilize every square inch of space in the condo.

“‘You have to move,’ they said. ‘You’ll never fit in your apartment,’ they said. ‘Time for a bigger place,’ they said,” she wrote while sharing an image of their space-saving solutions on her Instagram.

“This is how you do it in NYC. I think they all fit just fine … for now.”

In addition to the New York City apartment, Dreyer and Fichera also shared a stunning beach house in Point Lookout, NY, which was purchased back in 2021 for $2.5 million.

However, while property records show that the New York apartment was listed under both of their names, with Dreyer going by her married name, Dylan Fichera, on the deed, only her estranged husband is registered as the owner of the beach house.

Despite the news of her split from Fichera, Dreyer has spent a significant amount of time at the beach property in recent months—even celebrating her birthday there with her estranged spouse back in August.

That celebration came just a few weeks after Dreyer posted an emotional Instagram statement announcing the end of her marriage.

“For many years I have shared my family with you all—the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between,” the on-screen star wrote. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me through it all.

“For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate.”

Dreyer went on to insist that she and Fichera, who works as a cameraman for NBC News, remain committed to co-parenting their three sons together, adding that they have “noting but love and respect for one another.”
