Ana Navarro got into an intense fight with ex-Trump staffer Harrison Fields on CNN.

The pair sparred on air over where drugs are entering the United States: Mexico vs. Venezuela.

“Well, your day job is The View,” Fields said, with Navarro clapping back in epic fashion.

Ana Navarro is bringing the heat from The View‘s Hot Topics table over to CNN.

The Republican panelist got into an intense clash on air Wednesday night, as she sparred with former Donald Trump staffer Harrison Fields as part of the NewsNight panel hosted by the network’s Abby Phillip — which devolved into Fields criticizing Navarro’s position on the daytime talk show.

Navarro and Fields butted heads during an already contentious debate about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s lead over deadly strikes on alleged Venezuelan drug boats, which Navarro and her The View cohosts have strongly condemned in recent weeks.

Fields defended such American actions in the region, calling it “protecting American interests” and citing what he felt were “drugs pouring into this country and killing us” as a result.

“Drugs don’t come from Venezuela. Then why aren’t you bombing Mexico?” Navarro, who is from Nicaragua, clapped back. “Are you going to bomb Mexico?”

Fields grew impatient, telling Navarro to “stop” and calling hers a “ridiculous argument” on the topic.

“No, you stop. You’re the one being ridiculous,” Navarro pushed back. Fields then alleged that “the president you advocated for for four years, Joseph R. Biden, allowed our border to be open,” to which Navarro replied, “I’m not going to let you gaslight me.”

Fields then asked Navarro if Biden “let in tons and tons and tons” of undocumented people to the country, and Navarro called the number “a very small fraction.”

“Tell that to the families of fentanyl families who have died,” Fields quipped back, prompting Navarro to emphatically state that “no fentanyl comes from Venezuela” and that “this is a fact.” Fields then told her to “talk to the DEA” for information.

“No, you are wrong, and you are lying to the American people. You’re part of the fabricated America that doesn’t exist,” responded Navarro.

Then, Fields took aim at Navarro’s post on The View, telling her, “Well, your day job is The View, so let’s talk about fabrication.”

Without missing a beat, Navarro fired back, “And you have no day job. You just lost yours,” referencing Fields leaving his posts as a deputy press secretary and special assistant at the White House in August.

At the end of the clash, Phillip jumped in to tell Fields, “Harrison, you are wrong, okay? You’re wrong, because you just mixed up a whole bunch of stuff there.”

Though he left the White House earlier this year, Fields is currently listed as an SVP at CGCN, a conservative lobby firm.

On Monday, Navarro’s cohost, Sara Haines, likened a Sept. 2 strike to “flat-out murder” on the part of the government.

Though a spokesperson for Sec. Hegseth had no additional comment when reached by Entertainment Weekly at the time, an earlier social media post shared to his account alleged that “the Biden administration preferred the kid gloves approach, allowing millions of people — including dangerous cartels and unvetted Afghans — to flood our communities with drugs and violence,” while “the Trump administration has sealed the border and gone on offense against narco-terrorists. Biden coddled terrorists, we kill them.”

The statement continued, “Our current operations in the Caribbean are lawful under both U.S. and international law, with all actions in compliance with the law of armed conflict—and approved by the best military and civilian lawyers, up and down the chain of command.”
