THE JOKE IS NOW A PROPHECY! Footage proves Pat Sajak predicted Ryan Seacrest would replace him as Wheel of Fortune host over a decade ago—you won’t believe the chilling comment he made that officially sealed Seacrest’s fate!

Secret Revealed: Is Pat Sajak a Host or… a Psychic Medium?

The beloved star of ‘Wheel of Fortune’, Pat Sajak—who announced his retirement earlier this month—accurately predicted that Ryan Seacrest would be his eventual replacement, and astonishingly, the prediction occurred more than a decade ago!

Pat Sajak predicted Ryan Seacrest would host Wheel of Fortune in 2012

Video footage from a 2012 episode of the show, which has been circulating rapidly online since Seacrest’s hosting announcement, captured the fateful moment. Sajak is seen becoming momentarily confused when a contestant requests the letter ‘E’ after landing on a ‘Free Play’ tile.1

“Well, you’ve spun the wheel and you have to ask for a consonant,” Sajak reminds the competitor, before realizing his own error. “Oh, you’re on a free play — you know what, I’m an idiot.”2Turning to the camera.

Sajak began to laugh as he explained, “You see, the way it works is if you land — never mind, is there an ‘E’ in the puzzle?” Indeed, there were a few E’s on the board.

Later in the episode, when another contestant was guessing a letter, Sajak’s voice was suddenly heard offscreen with a joke that now sounds like a prophecy: “Ryan Seacrest is on speed dial.”

The Sealed Fate: A Prophecy Comes True

On Tuesday, Sony Pictures Television officially announced that Ryan Seacrest had signed a multi-year agreement to host Wheel of Fortune after Sajak retires at the end of its 41st season in 2024. Seacrest will also serve as a consulting producer on the show.

The American Idol star said that he was “truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak” by taking on the hosting gig. He added, “I can’t wait to continue the tradition of spinning the wheel and working alongside the great Vanna White.”

Pat Sajak himself warmly celebrated his successor on social media on Wednesday: “I’m looking forward to my final season starting this fall, and then handing over the car keys to Ryan Seacrest in September of 2024,” he wrote.

This confirms, in a stunning way, that over 10 years ago, even while joking about a small on-air mistake, Pat Sajak had inadvertently foreseen the future of the iconic host chair he held for four decades.
