The pair confirmed their engagement on Tuesday, Aug. 26, in a joint Instagram post that included photos from Kelce’s floral-filled proposal. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” Swift captioned the carousel. In one image, Kelce knelt with a custom-designed old mine brilliant cut ring — created with jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry — while Swift cradled his face in her hand. Other shots showed the couple embracing beneath a trellis of pink and white blooms.

The milestone comes as Swift prepares for the release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, announced earlier this month during her debut on the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast.
