Dolly Parton is bringing her signature sparkle to your makeup bag with her upcoming beauty line, Dolly Beauty.
On Tuesday (August 13), Dolly teased her fans with a glimpse of her new cosmetics line. Some fans thought her recent Instagram photo, where she’s sitting in a director’s chair with her name, might be a hint about her upcoming Broadway show.
But, after seeing the red lipstick in the “Jolene” singer’s hand, fans had only one question: Is Dolly teasing a makeup line?
“I feel glamorous on the inside, so I want to look like it on the outside…something is coming,” Dolly wrote, leaving fans excited for what’s to come.
Dolly tagged the new beauty line in her post. When you click on Dolly Beauty’s profile, it takes you to the newly launched Instagram profile with only two posts—the same one Dolly shared and another of her interview with Women’s Wear Daily (WWD).
When speaking with WWD, Dolly shared:
“I’ve always said I never leave a rhinestone unturned. I’ve wanted to be pretty my whole life like most girls, especially country girls that have a dream of glamour. I started creating my own little makeup things at home when I was just a kid, and I’ve been known for wearing makeup—usually too much—for years.”
Dolly Beauty’s first product is the Heaven’s Kiss lipstick collection.
Each lipstick costs $20 and comes in four beautiful shades. Expect to see fun names like Jolene Red and Rosebud, which pay homage to her beloved songs. In classic Dolly style, the product’s packaging is decorated with sparkling rhinestones.
“I like to name my products after songs,” Dolly revealed. “It’s important to create things that people that do wear makeup can enjoy. You have to have a variety of colors.”
Get ready to add some Dolly glam to your beauty routine! The official release date for Heaven’s Kiss is August 22. Fans can also sign up on the brand’s website to get more updates on new product launches.
