Love Island USA kept its audience on their toes for the season 7 premiere.
On Tuesday, June 3, the Peacock reality dating series premiered, but after a slight delay. The seventh season was set to drop at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT, but a minute after its premiere time, Peacock announced there would be a slight delay.
“WE GOT A TEXT! 👀 Tonight’s episode will be slightly delayed. But it is worth the wait ❤️🔥🏝 Stay tuned! #LoveIslandUSA,” the X post read.
However, that slight delay turned into another 40 minutes. Despite the delays, audiences in Canada reported that the premiere episode was available on the CTV streamer.

Several users expressed their frustrations on X. “the love island delay was straight evil,” one user wrote. “i survived the great love island delay of 2025,” an X user joked.
Another added, “Peacock playin with this delay of Love Island. #LoveIslandUSA.”
“40 minute delay is CRAZYYYY count ur days peacock and love island u better make sure this first episode is worth it or im comin over there,” a different user posted.
Nearly 45 minutes after the initial air time, the streamer announced the show was airing. “Thank you for your patience! The #LoveIslandUSA episode is officially live now. Enjoy the premiere 💖,” the streamer said in another X post.
Eventually, the season premiered kicked off with an introduction to the first 10 Islanders.
Peacock announced the cast on Thursday, May 29: Huda Mustafa, Olandria Carthen, Belle-A Walker, Yulissa Escobar and Chelley Bissainthe will be the first five girls in the Fiji villa, and are joined by Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Taylor Williams, Austin Shepard, Ace Green and Jeremiah Brown.
Vanderpump Rules alum Ariana Madix is reprising her role as host, alongside the show’s famed narrator, Iain Stirling.
Love Island USA season 7 airs daily, except Wednesdays, at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.
