A new brunette bombshell has entered the villa.
Ariana Madix debuted her latest hair transformation, rocking a brand new look of chocolate brown locks for the June 12 episode of Love Island USA.
The reality dating show’s host showed off the unexpected ‘do, a departure from her trademark blonde hair, in a sexy video posted to Instagram the same night that the episode aired on Peacock. In the clip set to Beyoncé‘s “Partition,” Ariana struts around in a red latex mini-dress covered in buckled straps that she paired with matching platform heels and a billowy robe draped on her elbows. She finished off the vampy look with a stitched leather purse shaped like a hand and a ball gag hanging around her neck.
Her post was captioned, “Moment On The Dark Side,” and the Vanderpump Rules alum credited celebrity hairstylist Carl Bembridge for her daring new look, which she also noted was a wig.
That said, many took to the comment section to praise the striking look, with Summer House star Paige DeSorbo encouraging her to make a permanent change, writing, “I mean now you have to dye it.”
Ariana Madix Reveals When She Really Walked Away From Vanderpump Rules
Ariana’s second season as the host of Love Island USA comes as she continues to fade away from her nine-season tenure on Vanderpump Rules, which she recently admitted didn’t come entirely naturally to her.
“I was never really made for reality TV,” she told People in an interview published in March. “I don’t think I’ve ever been what makes ‘a good reality star.’ I think in some ways that’s what has made me a good reality star. But that being said, I think that a lot of times I got in my head.”

“I’ve also learned that maybe that’s not the best setting for me, and it’s not a setting that really allows me to be myself,” Ariana added. “And when you’re not being yourself, you get yourself into situations where you’re saying or doing things that you don’t really back or believe in.”
The 39-year-old—who has been dating Daniel Wai for two years following her breakup from Tom Sandoval—has also found peace since moving on from Vanderpump Rules.
“I feel at almost 40 like my true self,” she explained. “I’m surrounded by such amazing friends and family. It feels really good to be in a position where I’m able to do what I love and make a living doing it. Being in this business for many, many years, it’s taken a long time to get to that point, and I feel really lucky.”
