Fans were happy to see Jeopardy! making use of newer ways of watching television to keep the show current. Reddit user whalebacon wrote, “Welcome to the 21st century. It’s about damn time.“

Redditor 853fisher said, “I’m grateful for this, and I hope it does help younger and other people become / stay engaged with the show. I only wish I could tell my 10-year-old self, compulsively going over our VCR programming to make sure I didn’t miss any game shows, that it would be easier one day.”

I’m so happy that Jeopardy! is finally joining streaming services. I know how frustrating it is when an episode is pre-empted, and there’s no convenient way to watch it in full. I agree with the Reddit user who said that it will help people stay engaged with the show. It’s disappointing to miss an episode, and it can make people give up on watching. Now they can simply catch up with Jeopardy! on a streaming service, and it’s about time.

I also think that some fans might even begin binge-watching Jeopardy! through the streaming services. It’ll be fun to watch or revisit past champions’ runs on the show, especially when tournament play begins.
