The wildlife warrior got emotional on Instagram about a tough week of “DWTS” rehearsals as he prepares to honor his mom, Terri, on “Dedication Night.

Robert Irwin’s latest “Dancing With the Stars” assignment has him feeling all the feels.

The Australian wildlife conservationist and his professional dancing partner, Witney Carson, are currently rehearsing for “Dedication Night,” which will have contestants perform dances dedicated to “influential people in their lives,” according to a press release from ABC.

The 21-year-old, who lost his father, Steve Irwin, when he was just about 3 years old, decided to honor his mother, Terri Irwin, for the special night.

“It has been an emotional week in rehearsals. I’ve been thinking a lot about my mum and her strength, I’ve been reminiscing on the times we’ve spent as a family and how she has kept my dad part of my life,” he captioned an Instagram post.

Robert Irwin went on to describe the inspiration behind his dance.

“This dance is for my mum, it’s for anyone who’s lost someone… and it’s for all the strong mothers of the world who deserve our recognition and appreciation ❤️,” he wrote.

The “Dancing With the Stars” front-runner shared several photos of his mother in the post, including one of the 61-year-old visiting him and Carson in the dance studio during rehearsals.

Another image showed Robert Irwin as a child with his parents and his sister, Bindi Irwin. He also included an older snap of himself holding a stuffed animal alongside his mother.

Robert Irwin, who added an instrumental version of the Phil Collins song “You’ll Be In My Heart” to the post, included two still photos of himself and Carson in the dance studio. The black-and-white snaps appeared to depict some emotional moments from the dance.

Terri Irwin commented on her son’s post, writing, “I love you forever and always. Together we are strong. 💕.”

Carson also sent her love, commenting, “So proud of you.”

“Boy Meets World” star Danielle Fishel, who is also competing this season on “Dancing With the Stars,” showed her support in the comments.

“I’m in tears — your mom deserves this praise and I know you and @witneycarson are going to crush this contemporary! ❤️❤️,” she wrote.

Terri Irwin also shared her own Instagram post filled with family photos from over the years in honor of the upcoming dance.

“It’s dedication night, week five @dancingwiththestars. I’m incredibly honoured that Robert thought of me. Steve and I always talked about how much it meant to us to be parents. So much love. This will be a special night.💕,” she wrote.

The proud mother also included Collins’ song “You’ll Be In My Heart.”

The “Dancing With the Stars” Instagram page commented on her post, writing, “We can’t wait for you to shine with Robert on Tuesday! ❤️.”

One of Terri Irwin’s followers called her the “world’s best mum” and an “inspiration for women all around.”
