“American Idol” and “Dancing With the Stars” alum Lauren Alaina is celebrating a very special milestone: one week of motherhood! Alaina, who competed on Season 28 of DWTS alongside professional dancer Gleb Savchenko, welcomed her first child, a daughter, Beni Doll Arnold, with her husband Cam Arnold, on June 11. She announced the news on Instagram.
On June 18, she updated fans again, this time to celebrate her daughter’s one-week milestone. And the first-time mom made her announcement in the sweetest way.

The “Those Kind of Women” singer posted several photos on Instagram of Beni, herself, and Cam, as well as their loved ones, as they celebrated her first week. The pictures are a beautiful display of love and happiness, but Alaina shared her thoughts in the caption. “Our whole world, our little baby girl. One week of you and we already can’t imagine life before,” she wrote. “I’ve heard people say it goes by so fast and I promise to cherish every minute. We love you so much Beni Doll.”
Fans reacted to the post with messages of love and words of encouragement. “Beautiful, congratulations again, sweetheart. Beautiful family,” a comment reads. “Her little smile!!” another fan wrote. Ahead of the birth of their daughter, Alaina discussed her pregnancy and the bond she shares with her husband in an interview with People in January 2025. “My love for him grew that day of getting married, and then finding out we were having a baby together. Walking through this experience with him has been unbelievable,” she told People.
In the interview, the singer also admitted that she was “looking forward” to seeing how Arnold took on the role of being a father and that his nurturing nature was something she was drawn to. “When I was getting ready to marry him, that was something that I knew would be one of the best things about being his wife, was being able to parent with him,” she said.
Fans have been incredibly supportive of Alaina as she embraces her new role as a mother, and when the couple announced the birth of their daughter with a touching message on Instagram, the response was beautiful. In a joint Instagram post on June 11, the pair shared the news of Beni’s arrival.
“The right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn’t even knew existed were unlocked at 8:44 am when they laid you on my belly for the first time. I will never be the same,” they wrote. “You, to your dad and me, are absolute perfection. We are honored God chose us to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all of the love, prayers, and support for our precious daughter.”
