Jenna Bush Hager is a pro when it comes to working under pressure, even if that means giving herself a minor makeover in the minutes before going on air to co-host her morning show, Jenna & Friends.

The television personality revealed on her Instagram that she got a haircut nine minutes before the show started taping on Tuesday, Nov. 11, sharing a video of herself under the trust of celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan.

“You know what happens when he’s here?” Bush Hager, 43, asks the camera while sitting in the styling share with a black cape draped around her neck as McMillan combs her locks into a perfect center part.

“We don’t mess around. We get right to business,” the hairstylist replies.

“We get straight to it,” emphasizes Bush Hager.

As Bush Hager yells “two minutes to air!” a calm, cool and collected McMillan was still snipping away. “Look! We’re good to go,” he eventually says to her, confirming that he’s “happy” with the finished product.

“Hurry up! Hold on! Thank you so much!” yells the morning show host, whose hair was being blow-dried by McMillan for last-minute touch-ups as she worked her way out of the glam room and into the studio for the show.

She captioned her post, “A fresh trim nine minutes before the show starts? No problem! 😉 @mrchrismcmillan killed it as usual! #jennaandfriends.”

The decision to chop her locks was, in a way, on par with her guest co-host for the week of Nov. 10: Leslie Bibb!

The White Lotus star famously turned the “c—- little bob” (or CLB) into a pop culture phenomenon upon debuting her mid-neck haircut on the hit HBO show’s third season — not to mention, it was done by McMillan himself!

McMillan is the man behind the famed Rachel haircut on Friends, so it makes sense that he created this generation’s version of the Rachel with Bibb’s bob, inspiring many fans of the show (and look!) to commit to the chop themselves.

“This haircut has really taken off,” Bibb said when speaking with PEOPLE exclusively in June. “I said to [hairstylist] Chris [McMillan] as a joke, I was like, ‘Oh, you did the Rachel. Now you have the c—- little bob.’ “

When Bush Hager previously had Bibb on Jenna & Friends in June, the talk show host dramatically debuted her new bob hairstyle, inspired by the actress’ short, blonde look in The White Lotus.

“This is my hair,” Bush Hager announced as she walked on stage with Bibb, who served as a guest co-host for the episode.

When they sat at the desk, Bush Hager reflected on the change to her appearance.

“I feel a little… You know that ’90s movie Single White Female, where you try to copy somebody to such an extent?” she said. “You made this haircut so famous, and then I used your hairstylist, who is a star, to get the exact same haircut, and I’m feeling a little strange.”

Bibb was quick to reply, saying, “You don’t look strange. You look sexy and powerful and glamorous. And I kept saying it yesterday — you’re a badass.”
