Today With Jenna & Friends host Jenna Bush Hager has quite a few accomplishments under her belt, but she added one more to the list recently, sharing a fun acceptance speech with fans.
In a new update from the Jenna & Friends Instagram page, Bush Hager won a special Las Culturistas Culture Award called the TODAY Show Award for Excellence in the Morning, leading her to stand in front of a microphone for her acceptance speech.
Bush Hager didn’t hold back, getting a little cheeky as she compared her new honor with her father’s two presidencies. She began, “I’d like to thank my mom, my cat, my children—kids, it’s time to get out of bed.”
She then mentioned her father, former President George W. Bush, saying, “I’d also like to thank my dad. He may have won the presidency twice, well—one time it was close—but twice. But I have won a Culture Award twice, so we’re even, diva!”
“‘They’re about the same, right?” Bush Hager questioned at the end.
Fans cheered Bush Hager on in the comments, congratulating her as they wrote, “congrats diva! so well deserved! 🩷🩷🎉🎉,” and “Amazing and congrats Jenna you deserve it 🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
“Calling George w bush ‘diva’ is sending me 😂😂😂,” said another after seeing the clip.
