Hayley Erbert was born on October 11, 1994.
Like her famous boyfriend, she is also a dancer and has appeared on Dancing With The Stars. She officially joined the DWTS family in 2015 when she became part of their yearly tours.
Hayley shot to fame when was a finalist on season 10 of So You Think You Can Dance.

The pair first met when Derek and his sister, Julianne Hough, hired her for their Move Live! tour in 2014.
They were then reunited in 2015 when they both took part in the DWTS tour. The two became romantically involved while on the tour, Entertainment Tonight reported.
Opening up about their romance in 2018, Derek told ET: “She’s grounded. She’s really, really grounded—just really down to earth, and just [has] a good heart and a beautiful soul.”

The couple got married in August 2023. They wed in Monterey County, California.
Hough’s brother-in-law officiated their wedding, People reported.

The couple announced their engagement in June 2022. They dated for seven years before they got engaged.

What happened to Hayley Erbert?
On December 6, 2023, Hayley was taken to the hospital after her and Derek’s tour performance.
Derek confirmed on Instagram the next day that she was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma due to a burst blood vessel.
She underwent emergency brain surgery and is in stable condition.
“I want to thank the first responders and medical personnel who have cared for and continue to care for her,” Derek said in his social media post.
“I ask for your prayers and positivity during this time.”
