“Today” show host Dylan Dreyer has revealed that she has split from her husband, Brian Fichera—just months after the former couple put their shared marital home on the market for $2.5 million.
Dreyer, 43, who is based in New York, announced the news of the split in a statement on her Instagram account, insisting that she and Fichera, 38, remain “the closest of friends,” despite their separation after 13 years of marriage.
“For many years I have shared my family with you all—the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between,” the on-screen star wrote. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me through it all.
“For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate.”
Dylan went on to insist that she and Fichera, who works as a cameraman for NBC News, remain committed to co-parenting their three sons together, adding that they have “noting but love and respect for one another.”

The “Today” host and Fichera, who tied the knot in October 2012 and share sons Calvin, 8, Oliver, 5, and Rusty, 3, have already proven their ability to remain pals, even attending a celebrity golf tournament together in California earlier this month.
However, their marriage has still been the source of much speculation among “Today” fans—particularly after Dreyer began appearing on the morning show without her wedding ring.
Perhaps another sign that their relationship was on the rocks came when they made the decision to put their shared New York City home on the market back in November 2024, when they listed the property for $2.49 million.
Initially, the home remained listed for just a few days, before it was taken off the market—only to return in January of this year.
Dreyer and Fichera purchased the two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in June 2016, according to property records, just a few months before they welcomed Calvin, the first of their three sons, in December.
The condo, which was built in 2008, sprawls across 1,491 square feet and features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the lush landscaping of Battery Park below.
An expansive living room has elegant oak wood flooring, and the chef’s kitchen offers a chic and minimalist design with gray cabinets, modern appliances, and marble countertops. The dining room can accommodate 10 people.
The bedrooms are “generously proportioned,” the listing notes. The “oversized” primary suite features a “five-fixture bathroom complete with Crema Luna limestone floors and tops, Waterworks fixtures and teak cabinetry.”
Though the space might be deemed as too small for a family of five, the listing photos reveal the lengths that Dreyer and Fichera went to maximize the space in their second bedroom, which serves as a dedicated space for their kids.
The bedroom offers a three-level bunk bed, a colorful rug, and animal-themed storage bins as well as a wall with built-in storage.

The second bedroom also boasts a separate bathroom that comes with chic white tiling.
While the apartment might be a tight squeeze for the family, the building offers communal spaces where they can stretch their legs, including a children’s playroom and an expansive rooftop.
“Spectacular amenities include full time doorman, porters, a sky-lit indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, state of the art fitness center, children’s playroom and a 7,000 square foot landscaped rooftop with two built-in commercial barbecue grills, a wet bar and cabanas with retractable awnings,” the listing adds.
The building comes with a swimming pool, sauna, and pool table. The location is next to Battery Park and a selection of restaurants and hot spots.
The couple bought the home in 2016 after selling their Upper West Side co-op, which they listed for $862,000.
Before listing the home, Dreyer had previously hinted at plans to move out of her Manhattan condo. In January 2022, she joked that while some might believe the space had become too tight for her family of five, she was determined to make it work for as long as possible.
She captioned the image: “‘You have to move,’ they said. ‘You’ll never fit in your apartment,’ they said. ‘Time for a bigger place,’ they said.
“This is how you do it in NYC. I think they all fit just fine … for now.”
Though Dreyer has not revealed whether she has snapped up her own home in New York City, she and Fichera also own a stunning beach house in Point Lookout, NY, which was purchased back in 2021 for $2.5 million.
However, while property records show that the New York apartment is listed under both of their names, with Dreyer going by her married name, Dylan Fichera, on the deed, only her estranged husband is registered as the owner of the beach house.
