Colorado Buffaloes sensation Shedeur Sanders is set to discover his NFL draft fate this week, with the quarterback predicted to be a first-round pick on Thursday. Throughout the 2024/25 college football season, Sanders was widely anticipated to be among the top three picks by a team in need of a quarterback, such as the Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, and the Cleveland Browns.

However, Sanders has universally slipped down the NFL Draft board, with many NFL experts heavily leaning towards Deion Sanders’ son being taken by the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 21.

Known for his unapologetic confidence, which has seen some NFL team figures scold him for how he conducted formal interviews, football fans know all about Sanders on the field but not a lot off it, such as his dating history or whether he has a girlfriend.

Sanders hasn’t publicly confirmed whether he’s currently in a relationship. However, he has been romantically linked to several women, such as Jasmine Rae, a model and internet personality.

The pair haven’t officially confirmed whether they’re dating, but they have been spotted out together in 2023, sparking rumours. Rae, 29, is a few years older than Sanders, and the pair were seen together when the quarterback was 21.

When probed about his love life, Sanders firmly dismissed any notions of romance. The young athlete, during a recent stint on a podcast, made clear his current significant relationship: “Yes, I have my mom [Pilar Sanders].”

Before becoming entangled with speculation surrounding Rae, it’s known that Sanders enjoyed a confirmed romance with the actress Storm Reid. Reports suggest their bond blossomed around the time Sanders was at Jackson State and continued blooming as he headed to join the Buffaloes alongside his father and brother, Shilo Sanders.

Together, they’re credited with elevating the football team into the spotlight on the college football stage.

Speaking confidently on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” earlier this year, pre-split, Reid expressed her unwavering support for the Buffaloes: “Whether I’m there or not, I do support. I will for sure be in the student section, or wherever I am, rooting for the Buffaloes … wearing the number and everything,”.

Sanders’ arrival onto this year’s NFL Draft scene has been met with mixed reactions; his genuineness stirs controversy among football insiders.

One quarterback coach characterized Sanders as “brash” and “arrogant.”

Meanwhile, an assistant coach conveyed his disappointment to the NFL Network, labelling Sanders “entitled” and lambasting their interaction as “the worst formal interview” he had ever experienced – a stark condemnation indeed.

“I truly don’t have any space for negativity, so it doesn’t play a factor in my life at all,” Sanders declared to NBC News after the anonymous remarks surfaced. “I understand the easiest thing in the world to do is to be negative instead of positive. I truly don’t care what people have to say.”

It was the anonymous jibes that ruffled feathers, particularly those of his father and Buffaloes head coach, Deion. The former NFL icon, hailed as one of the most talented players in league history, promised to unmask the anonymous detractor – and succeeded.

Coach Prime didn’t mince his words: “We like to call that stuff out, though,” he admitted. “I know who it is, you’re going to make me call him out. You know what team-don’t make me pull behind the curtain and step in that thing. … I try my best to keep it on the high road but I don’t know the address!”.
