Taylor Swift certainly has a lot of her plate these days, but the newly engaged singer took time to celebrate a milestone birthday with a friend on Friday.

The Grammy winner, 35, was spotted enjoying dinner with Brittany Mahomes, who is celebrating her 30th birthday with a girls trip in Nashville.

Swift was seen sitting next to the guest of honor during dinner at a restaurant in Music City.

The Lover singer was seen wearing a strappy black top or dress and her long, blonde hair was styled straight.

The group were reportedly at the posh Twelve Thirty club.

Mahomes, who is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was whisked off for a girls weekend in a private jet with pals Lyndsay Bell and Cass Greinert.

The pair shared a photo of the Kansas City Current co-owner standing in the doorway of the jet, surrounded by pink and orange balloons.

Mahomes was one of the first to congratulate Swift and Travis Kelce, 35, on their engagement after Tuesday’s announcement.

‘Two of the most genuine people meet & fall in love. Just so happy for these two’ she wrote in response to the happy news.

In the meantime, Blake Lively, who is embroiled in a contentious lawsuit with her It Ends with Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni has not publicly sent well wishes to her previously close friend.

Sources say the friendship between the two was damaged when Swift was unwilling dragged into the litigation.

Baldoni has alleged that Lively used her husband Ryan Reynolds and Swift as ‘dragons’ to exert control over the film.

The Town actress issued a statement in March, decrying the attempt to drag Swift into the legal drama.

‘Mr Baldoni… and team continue to turn a case of sexual harassment and retaliation into entertainment for the tabloids, going as far as suggesting that they sell tickets to a concert venue – Madison Square Garden – to witness Ms. Lively’s deposition, to subpoenaing Taylor Swift, a woman who has given a voice to millions the world over,’ a spokesperson for Lively stated in March.

Regardless, the legal action seems to have created a huge rift between the former best friends.

Back in June, a source told the Daily Mail that Swift had been ghosting Lively’s repeat attempts to ‘reach out’ with ‘texts, voicemails and even emails begging to mend what they once had’.

Now, Lively has given up trying. ‘Blake didn’t reach out [following the engagement announcement] and isn’t going to,’ an inside source told the Daily Mail, adding: ‘This isn’t the time.’

‘What would be the point of reaching out now?’ the source said. ‘It really makes no sense. [Lively] has bigger fish to fry.’
