Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s engagement announcement sent Swifties into a frenzy on Tuesday and the bride-to-be’s chic look came with a seriously hefty price tag.

The 35-year-old pop superstar looked radiant in a striped silk-blend sundress by Ralph Lauren ($400) as her NFL star fiancé, also 35, got down on one knee in a lush garden bursting with roses and hydrangeas for the engagement photoshoot.

Swift elevated the romantic daytime look with a pair of Louis Vuitton ‘Isola’ sandals ($930) and her Cartier ‘Santos Demoiselle’ watch ($18,330), a dazzling diamond-encrusted timepiece fans may recognize from her appearance on Travis’ New Heights podcast earlier this month.

Additionally, she donned a $1,400 Foundrae ring, $2,675 Tiffany & Co. necklace and $18,500 Louis Vuitton bracelet.

Her sandals were also a repeat as she previously wore them while visiting a children’s hospital over the summer.

For his part, Kelce appeared to match his fiancée in a $138 short-sleeve, navy-blue cable knit polo shirt which seemed to also be by designer Ralph Lauren.

All together, the singer’s outfit came to nearly $42,275 —not including the price of her breathtaking new accessory, estimated to cost anywhere between $750,000 to $1 million.

On her ring finger, the centerpiece of the shoot, was a striking oval-cut diamond set in yellow gold, a vintage-inspired sparkler that instantly set social media alight with speculation about its history.

In a sweet carousel of photos shared to Instagram, Swift captioned the announcement, ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.’

The engagement shoot itself looked like something out of one of Swift’s own music videos, with the couple embracing under a floral arch as she showed off her elegant summer ensemble.

Amid the exciting news, Daily Mail reached out to jewelers to find out just how much the massive diamond costs and what makes it unique.

Diamond experts at UK jeweler Steven Stone estimated ‘Taylor’s ring to be worth $700,000.’

‘Her ring features a striking 12 carat cushion-cut diamond – an elongated shape with softly rounded corners that balances brilliance with a romantic, understated elegance. The stone sits in a yellow gold setting, paired with a simple, polished band that lets the diamond take centre stage,’ he said.

Stone noted that in terms of the design, the ‘piece leans toward a vintage or antique-inspired aesthetic.’

Meanwhile, Nilesh Rakholia, jewelry expert and Founder of distinguished jeweler Abelini, valued the ring between ‘valued between £750,000 and £1 million.’

‘That makes it one of the most significant pieces in Taylor’s jewelry collection. She’s often seen wearing spectacular custom designs on stage and red carpets, but an engagement ring like this carries a very different weight – it’s deeply personal, and its importance goes far beyond its price tag,’ he told DailyMail.com.

Monil Kothari, NYC jewelry expert, called the piece ‘an absolutely breathtaking ring.’

‘The center stone appears to be an old mine–cut diamond in excess of 9 carats, a style prized for its vintage charm and distinctive sparkle,’ he conjectured. ‘A diamond of this size and quality could easily be valued well into the seven figures.’

According to Sarah Chapelle, who wrote Taylor Swift Style: Fashion Through the Eras and runs a Taylor Swift fashion blog, reported that Travis worked with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry for Taylor’s ring.

‘If my eyes don’t deceive me, in the photo we have of the ring it appears that part of the filigree work includes a small ‘T’ on the side, which I would guess is mirrored on the other side of the band,’ she wrote on Instagram.
