We’re sure there will be bad blood.

Taylor Swift has just shattered a major record—one previously held by none other than former President Donald Trump.

On Wednesday, the Grammy-winning pop icon made a memorable appearance on the “New Heights” podcast alongside her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce. The episode, which saw Travis’s older brother Jason Kelce hosting Taylor for an engaging conversation lasting over two hours, quickly became a monumental success. According to The Daily Beast, a staggering 1.3 million viewers tuned in within the first hour of the episode going live on YouTube. Representatives for Swift confirmed the impressive viewership figure, which is undeniably a huge achievement.

This incredible number surpassed the record set by Trump, whose October 2024 appearance on the “Joe Rogan Experience” drew 800,000 viewers during its first hour, as reported by CNN data analyst Harry Enten. The milestone was not lost on CNN host Kate Bolduan, who pointed out that Swift’s podcast debut is already “on track to become one of the most-watched podcasts of all time.”

Now, that’s a serious blow to Trump’s ego. As we know, the former president and Swift have not exactly been on the best of terms in recent years, particularly after Taylor publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election. Trump’s displeasure was loud and clear, as he voiced his frustrations in typical Trump fashion, writing in all caps on Truth Social: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.”

Trump didn’t stop there. In May, he once again took to Truth Social to express his disdain for Swift, remarking, “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’”

It’s safe to say Trump might not be too thrilled about Taylor’s massive podcast success. But, as of now, at least 1.3 million viewers—quite a few of them likely Swifties—would probably disagree with him. It’s clear that Taylor Swift’s influence and popularity continue to soar, and her place in pop culture is as undeniable as ever.
