A Blake Lively fan claims the ‘paranoid’ actress followed her to her car in a disturbing hotel incident, as told in a Daily Mail interview.

A fan alleges Blake Lively followed her to her car outside a Texas hotel

A woman staying at a luxury Texas hotel accused Blake Lively of following her and recording her car. The alleged encounter took place at The Hotel 1928 in Waco, Texas, on March 8.

Kaitlyn Cooper, a Houston local, shared her story in an interview with the Daily Mail. She claimed she stayed at the same hotel as Lively and witnessed odd behavior from the actress.

“We caught wind that there was a VIP staying at the hotel from the front desk people when we walked in,” Cooper shared. “They were chatting with each other and there was just this energy in the air that something was going on.”

Cooper and her mother spotted Blake Lively at dinner

While dining at the hotel restaurant, their server revealed the VIP guest was Blake Lively. The actress had traveled from Austin after promoting her new movie at the SXSW Film Festival.

“We ended up finishing dinner and went back down to the lobby and sat in the lounge area, just hanging out. And shortly after that, [Lively] walked in,” Cooper divulged.

After dinner, Cooper and her mother relaxed in the lounge. Shortly after, Lively entered the lobby. Cooper recorded Lively on her phone to show her friends.

According to reports, the video captured Lively wearing jeans and a white shirt. When she noticed the camera, she covered her face and was escorted by hotel staff and security.

“When she walked in [to the lobby], she was super loud. Her voice was extremely recognizable,” Cooper said. “I think she said hi to the two people at the front desk. She looked at us. I believe she spotted us [filming her].”

Cooper believed the encounter was over. However, the next morning, she had another unexpected interaction with the actress. While packing her car to check out, Cooper claimed Lively approached her.

“We were loading up our car and I heard [someone say], ‘Hi,’ and it was a woman’s voice,” Cooper said. “I looked up, and see [Lively]. She’s got her phone up [like she’s recording me]. Out of instinct, I just said ‘hi’ back, because what do you say?”

“I was really caught off guard,” Cooper said. “She then handed her phone off to her security guy and he did another lap around the passenger side and then they both went back in [to the hotel]. We were just confused about what was happening.”

Cooper posted about the incident on Instagram

Shaken by the encounter, Cooper shared her story on Instagram. She noticed unusual accounts viewing her videos, including a hotel employee and someone who seemed connected to Lively.

Cooper suggested Lively wanted to see if she posted footage of her.

“It’s very paranoid behavior,” she said. Lively has not publicly commented on the accusations. The hotel has also not issued a statement regarding the incident
