The View‘s Hot Topics table is cooling down for a spring hiatus.

If you find yourself asking, “Hey, why isn’t The View on this week?” Rest assured that the show — and cohosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin — will be be back with new episodes soon, shortly after the Easter weekend.

Now in its 28th season, the talk show regularly takes a week off during the spring season, and that break begins with Monday’s episode, kicking off an entire week of encore broadcasts featuring interviews with stars and political figures.

Guests whose episodes will re-air include Kara Swisher and Donny Osmond (April 14); Mindy Kaling (April 15); Stephen A. Smith and Karine Jean-Pierre (April 16); Sen. Elissa Slotkin and Julian Lennon (April 17), and Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Antoni Porowski (April 18).

New episodes of The View will return on Tuesday, April 22.

Just before the hiatus, Behar, 82, missed three broadcasts due to a bout with illness, with Goldberg even filling in for the comedian on the Friday, April 11 episode despite typically having Fridays off.

So far, season 28 of The View has proven to be a wild one, with everything from tense political debates stemming from the 2024 presidential election to Goldberg collapsing to the Hot Topics table in agonizing boredom over discussion topics.

There have also been at least two attempted dog escapes, a wild moment that saw Haines call her dad “hot” four times on the air, to guest John Leguizamo admitting that his “thing” doesn’t “work as much” during sex after he took hair loss medication.

Season 28 also treated audiences to a hilarious moment that saw Goldberg attempting to show off a prestigious award she’d won the night before a live show, only to send the accolade careening toward the table when she accidentally knocked it over live on the air.

The View returns with new episodes beginning Tuesday, April 22 at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on ABC.
