Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are allegedly unhappy that their wedding plans have been leaked.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco may no longer be “excited” about planning their wedding, following the leak of the plans, which has put the entire celebration in jeopardy.

The couple, who have been engaged since December 2024, has been trying to play coy about their planned nuptials, but some hurdles have been placed in their way to ensure a private affair.

Not only did they earlier shut down reports of having set a date after Ed Sheeran slipped about receiving an invite, but additional details have since also been leaked, leaving the pair scrambling.

With details like the A-listers who are expected to have received an invite, to the location, several things they wanted to stay private have since been spilled.

According to The Daily Mail, the pair is now “fuming” over the leaks.

“Selena and Benny are fuming that their wedding plans have been leaked,” a source told the publication. 

“If it wasn’t just two months away, they’d think about changing the celebrations, but that’s an impossible task and they don’t want to delay the wedding and find a new location. Instead, they’re doubling up on security to make the event as private as possible.”

A delay is also out of the question due to Gomez’s busy schedule, meaning that the event, which is alleged to be in September, also needs to accommodate that.

It was previously reported that the celebration will take place over two days in Montecito, California, and will only be attended by close friends and family.

That is still likely to include A-listers, like Sheeran, who has worked with Blanco in the past, Gomez’s close pal Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and her Only Murders in the Building co-stars, Steve Martin, Martin Short and Meryl Streep.

With the large number of high-profile guests, Gomez is allegedly focused mostly on security and respecting her guests’ privacy and comfort. This means she is also wrestling with potentially banning phones at the event.

“She is going back and forth on whether or not to allow people to have their phones as an extra measure of security and privacy, along with the fact that she wants everyone to be present,” the source said.

Gomez and Blanco confirmed their relationship in 2023, with him popping the question one year later.
