Drew Carey zones out on Price is Right after ‘senior moment’ on the show

Drew Carey zoned out on a recent episode of The Price is Right after fans claimed he had a ‘senior moment.’

Drew Carey made a brief slip-up on The Price Is Right.

Drew Carey may have had a brief slip-up on The Price Is Right, but contestant Laura Laye didn’t miss her shot.

The longtime host, now in his 17th year with the show, experienced what some fans have dubbed another “senior moment” during the July 25 episode while introducing the popular pricing game “Bullseye.”

Carey momentarily blanked on the name of the game as he stood beside contestant Laye, who was eyeing a luxury getaway to Mexico.

“We’re playing a game called, uh, uh… Bullseye,” Carey said, pausing mid-sentence as he squinted at the setup.

“I’m looking at this thing going Dartboard. Uh, what is it called?” he added with a chuckle.

Carey had a 'senior moment' on the show.

Despite the awkward pause, Carey pressed forward.

In “Bullseye,” contestants aim to hit a spending range between $10 and $12 by selecting grocery items and specifying how many units they want to “purchase.”

If the total falls outside the range, the player misses and must try again with a different item. After three failed attempts, the game ends, unless the contestant scores a bullseye.

The prize at stake? A six-night vacation to the Ajal Tulum Tree House in Mexico, complete with airfare for two and private transfers, a package valued at $9,137.

Laye’s first attempt missed the mark when she chose six Hawaiian Punch juice boxes. With each priced at $2.99, her total came to $17.94, overshooting the bullseye range.

Her second try, five taco mix packets at $1.49 apiece, totaled just $7.45, this time undershooting.

You’re on the board at least,” Carey said with encouragement.

With one shot remaining, Laye turned to the studio audience for guidance and went with three tubes of anchovy paste.

Carey revealed each was priced at $3.99, bringing her total to $11.97, a perfect bullseye.

Cheers erupted in the studio as Laye secured the tropical vacation and advanced to the Showcase round.

She later thanked a woman in the audience who had shouted out the winning suggestion.

Laye didn’t stop there.

According to TV Insider, she went on to win the night’s top prize package, walking away with a total of $53,437 in winnings.
