Chelley & Ace Just Exposed Themselves On Love Island USA After This Devastating Move

Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene each gave their reasons for voting out Hannah Fields and Jeremiah Brown on Love Island USA season 7, but both of them came off as hypocritical. Ace and Chelley were both original islanders, entering the villa on day one. So far this season, they’ve both remained pivotal to the villa drama.

Chelley and Ace immediately recognized each other from the real world, although they both claimed they didn’t have a prior relationship. Instead, they say they met in New York and talked on Instagram, but that was the extent of things. Ace even refused to couple up with Chelley on night one, opting to pair with Yulissa Escobar instead.

Ace has been a polarizing figure on Love Island USA season 7. Despite being one of the youngest people in the villa, fans have accused him of running the game. He was one of the deciding votes in keeping Love Island USA season 7 cast member Huda Mustafa over Jalen Brown.

Ace has also gotten into verbal altercations with Jeremiah Brown. His reason for voting out Jeremiah has sparked even more controversy. Why did Ace and Chelley make the decision they made?

Ace & Chelley Have Been Coupled Up For Weeks

Chelley decided to vote out Hannah over Amaya Espinal or Iris Kendall because Hannah only had one strong connection. This was similar to the reason Ace cited for voting out Jeremiah. However, this logic is hypocritical. Chelley and Ace both only have one strong connection in the villa: each other.

They may not have been coupled up with each other from day one, but the only duo that’s been together that long is Olandria Carthen and Taylor Williams. Ace and Chelley have shown interest in each other from the beginning, and they’ve both made very little effort to pursue other islanders.

Chelley was originally in a love triangle with Ace and Austin Shepard.

However, as soon as Ace’s partner Yulissa was sent home, and he realized he wasn’t interested in Amaya, Ace went all in on Chelley. He planned villa dates and continued to further their connection. Now, while Ace and Chelley may chat with the other islanders, they remain focused on each other.

Hannah’s elimination on Love Island USA season 7 was confusing. She had a strong connection with Pepe Garcia, whereas Iris and Amaya were lone wolves. Plus, to say Hannah was all-in on one person was disingenuous; she also had a relationship with Charlie Geogriou before he was eliminated from the villa.

Ace got Jeremiah out for a similar reason; he didn’t like how Jeremiah went all-in on Huda, and later did the same with Andreina Santos. Ace, however, is doing exactly what he says he doesn’t want other people to do. While Ace and Chelley may not be closed off, they aren’t making connections with other people.

They’re Not The Strongest Couple

Love Island USA is a tricky reality dating show. While the goal, allegedly, is to find love, there’s also a cash prize on the line for the best couple at the end of the experience. With Ace and Chelley making such a hypocritical decision, they’ve begged the question: are they just trying to win the money at the end?

Hannah and Pepe were a strong couple, especially with their ability to connect after Hannah’s heart was shattered when Charlie was voted off. Chelley may have seen Hannah as a threat, whereas Iris and Amaya have no strong connections and therefore are very unlikely to win the game. Although Jeremiah and Andreina had just met, Ace may have felt similarly threatened.

As one of the longest-standing couples in the house, Ace and Chelley do have a chance at winning the money at the end. That being said, there’s a lot of time between now and the finale. Ace and Chelley may break things off before then, or realize they can connect better with bombshells.
