Nick Kyrgios comments on Sinner and Alcaraz

Tennis player Nick Kyrgios affirmed that Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz cannot reach the level of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer.

On the Nothing Majors podcast , Nick Kyrgios offered his opinion: “To me, they’re just kids. That’s why Sinner and Alcaraz haven’t got the temperament that Djokovic, Nadal and Federer once had.

Sinner and Alcaraz are great talents, they will become the best players of this generation, but they cannot reach the level of Federer or Djokovic yet”

However, the Australian tennis player still acknowledged the achievements that these two young tennis players have achieved in recent years: “Sinner and Alcaraz are achieving amazing results and I believe they will mature more in the future.”

A few days ago, Kyrgios made a statement challenging Sinner ahead of the 2025 Australian Open: “I want to play Sinner at the Australian Open and have the whole field on my side. All respect will be thrown away, I will do everything to win.”

Nick Kyrgios has not fully recovered from an injury that has plagued him for more than a year. However, the player nicknamed “Bad Boy” will still participate in the Brisbane International in late December, before entering the 2025 Australian Open.
