Michael once suffered from chronic insomnia and had to be injected with propofol, a narcotic drug, for treatment for 2 months, causing paranoia and depression.

Michael Jackson had no sleep for 60 days

The latest information recently published has revealed more about the cause of the death of the King of Pop Michael Jackson. In fact, 2 months before his death, Michael did not have a real sleep. He had to use many strong drugs, affecting his health.

Speaking at the trial last weekend, Dr. Conrad Murray also admitted to prescribing medication for Michael to treat this insomnia for 60 days. However, the medication Michael took, although effective in interfering with natural sleep, did not help him have real sleep but only caused Michael to hallucinate a state of sleep. Meanwhile, his brain and body were still in the process of normal activity without being able to “rest”.

Dr. Charles Czeisler, a sleep specialist at Harvard Medical School, was shocked when he was informed of Michael’s condition and said that an overdose of extremely strong sleeping pills could kill Michael at any time. During his testimony at the recent trial, Dr. Czeisler said: “Jackson’s symptoms are very dangerous for someone with chronic insomnia, because his health condition is already unstable.”

Overdosing on powerful drugs not only caused Michael’s health to decline, but also caused him to suffer from paranoia. Testimonies from those who worked and served Michael, from his producer, chef, hair stylist, and choreographer, all said that Michael had symptoms of this paranoia.

For a long time, Michael showed signs of depression when he often sang to himself, talked to himself and lost a lot of weight. “Michael gradually had more severe symptoms, beyond the usual symptoms of someone with chronic insomnia” – Czeisler affirmed.

Michael had to take an overdose of propofol while being treated for chronic insomnia.

However, Dr. Czeisler believes that the star’s death was not caused solely by an overdose of the anesthetic propofol, although propofol disrupts normal sleep cycles and causes severe paranoia leading to depression in patients.
According to CNN, the autopsy results showed that Michael had suffered from insomnia for a long time, and he showed signs of severe physical decline until Dr. Murray injected a heavy dose of the anesthetic propofol, which has a drug-like effect, into Michael’s body for 2 months.

Symptoms of poor health, loss of balance, loss of appetite, decreased mental ability and slow reflexes are similar to the condition Michael had in the days before his death. But according to the testimony of Michael’s mother and children, Dr. Murray was also pressured to give Michael a heavy dose of medication, and the entertainment company AEG Live was considered one of the main pressures for Dr. Murray’s “prescription”.

Therefore, a series of questions are still raised about the mysteries behind the death of the King of Pop. The long-running lawsuit after Michael Jackson’s death has not yet come to an end./.
