Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham’s new photos with singer Sexyy Red created an online buzz, with netizens expressing curiosity about their relationship. The One Dance singer took to his Instagram (@champagnepappi) to share a carousel of photos with Sexyy Red while playing tennis on November 17, 2025.

Netizens filled the comment section, while some also made references to Drake’s relationship with Serena Williams. US Weekly reported that the duo had been rumoured to be dating in 2011 and the summer of 2015. While their dating history has remained contentious, Hello Magazine noted that Graham has referenced Serena and her husband in some of his songs.

However, it was the latter’s appearance during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime performance of Not Like Us that escalated the beef rumours. For those unversed, Lamar’s track has been synonymously described as a diss track against Graham.

While Serena has reportedly not publicly engaged with the rapper’s comments, she had responded to questions about her surprise appearance. During a speech at the 2024 ESPY awards, Serena noted,

“If I’ve learned anything this year, it’s that none of us, not a single one of us, not even me, should ever pick a fight with Kendrick Lamar. He will make your hometown not like you. The next time Drake sits courtside at a Raptors game, they’re going to Forrest Gump him. Seats taken.”

Amid the alleged beef, the former’s relationship with Sexyy Red has also been brought to the spotlight. A recent social media activity by Aubrey was reportedly enough to reignite his beef rumours with Serena.
