Vanna White Gives Her Honest Opinion On Ryan Seacrest
After four decades at the helm of the big wheel, Pat Sajak left some mighty big shoes. Of course, Ryan Seacrest is no rookie, and he took to Wheel Of Fortune with professionalism and grace. Ryan understood that and didn’t take his hosting gig lightly. Per TV Insider, Ryan told ABC 7 that it was initially a bit overwhelming.
“Let me be honest. There was a tremendous amount of pressure that I felt coming into this. It’s been built with Pat and Vanna for so many years, I just wanted people to feel comfortable and watch, and if we got a few more along the way then bonus round, right? I’m thrilled that the loyal audience has accepted what we get to do together,” Ryan said.

Fans love him and have enjoyed watching his first season on the show. But what does Wheel of Fortune mainstay Vanna White think of Ryan Seacrest? Vanna admitted that Ryan and Pat are different, which makes life fun.
“Everybody’s different, right? It’s completely different,” she said and added that Ryan made the transition “seamless.”
Together, Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White taped 195 episodes of Wheel Of Fortune in the first season. And according to them, they’ve enjoyed every moment.
“This whole season, I have been smiling from day one,” White shared. “He’s so easy to work with; He’s fun; He’s easygoing. And he makes my job easy. You come to work, and you make people happy. What could be better?”
Ryan jokes that one part of hosting Wheel of Fortune that still overwhelms him.
“At the end of the show, I’m embraced very strongly by a lot of the contestants because they’re walking away with real life-changing money,” he said.
