Throughout his decades-long television career, Drew Carey has amassed quite the fame and fortune. The beloved comedian — who also garnered great success in the world of game shows — has earned big bucks over the years: $165 million to be exact, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

The 61-year-old’s impressive net worth is all thanks to his most famous roles — including his most notable hosting gig on The Drew Carey Show from 1995 to 2004, which supposedly earned him a whopping $750,000 per episode.
After bidding his debut show goodbye, Drew joined the cast of Whose Line Is It Anyway? For two years from 2005 to 2007, he hosted the show that made fans and families laugh hysterically from inside the comfort of their homes.
In 1998 — just three years after his career took off — Drew was named the 24th highest paid entertainer by Forbes in 1998.

After his tenure on Whose Line Is It Anyway? ended, the Dirty Jokes and Beer: Stories of the Unrefined author — who was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant from 1981 to 1987 — took time to develop a passion for sports photography. However, he didn’t stray too far from the small screen. In 2005, Drew was offered to replace Bob Barker as the host of The Price Is Right.
Television and acting isn’t the only thing that has contributed to Drew’s hefty bank account, though. Besides loving photography, the Ohio native is also the minority owner of the Seattle Sounders FC — an American professional soccer club based in Seattle, Washington.

Drew has also made quite the name for himself when it comes to activism toward the cause of public libraries. The famous TV personality has been known to donate pretty frequently to libraries in order to keep them open and operational.
His net worth may be exponential, but in the past, Drew said he’s earned his bucks after working so hard over the years. “Yeah, TV pays crazy money, I get paid a lot of money, but I don’t feel guilty about it,” he once said. “A lot of people feel guilty, like I don’t deserve the money. I think I do.” Way to go, Drew!
