One of the major reasons behind Serena Williams’ retirement was her aspiration to raise her kids. The decision to move away from something that she has loved so much over the years wasn’t easy, but it was definitely rewarding.

Speaking more on that, she once said, “I never thought I would say that. But just hanging out with my girls and spending time with them and just showing up every day is an achievement, and it’s not easy.

I can’t think of anything else that I achieved that’s better or greater than that.” She often gives a glimpse of those adorable moments with her daughters on social media and guess what? She recently shared a fun moment with Olympia.

Serena Williams shared a small video clip on her social media account which highlighted a special day that she had arranged for her elder daughter.

The 7-year-old kid was spotted enjoying the company of her super momma! Serena Williams prepared a few cards, each with several types of activities and Olympia had to pick one card out of the two without seeing it.

Hilariously, Williams had included “Homework” on both the cards for her first pick. So, either way, Olympia had to complete her homework with her mother’s help.

Then later on she revealed, “I wanted to give Olympia a special day. She did cry when she pulled the homework card, but the day got better. 💕 Enjoy this post in TikTok.” However, afterward, Olympia was spotted having fun with the rest of her picks.

What were those picks, though? Well, the second one consisted of two cards, one in between them had the option of an arcade and the other one had the option of the escape room. She picked the latter one and then Serena Williams was seen doing her duties of taking her kid to the escape room.

Further proceeding into this family fun session, we also saw the tennis star taking her kid to McDonald’s and also getting her a pedicure.

Not only that, but other fun activities from that session included Olympia getting the chance to spend time with her younger sister Adira, creating a potion, and even playing Roblox with her mother.

After seeing all of these, it reminds us of Harper’s Bazaar’s interview with Serena Williams from 2018, where she said, “I do. I hope I am, and I’m going to strive to be the best mom I can be.”

Not only she has become the best mom now, but she has turned into a super momma! She once said that she’s pretty much “obsessed” with her children.

“I spend all day with them, I have my schedule or my work schedule, like my whole life is like ok, being with Olympia, being with Adira,” that’s how she loves spending her life after retiring from her beloved sport. Even when she’s not around her kids, she always tries to figure out a way of connecting with them in various ways.

Being a working mom is not an easy task! Serena Williams has to travel often to look out for her business ventures and attend fashion events.

However, amid all these, she has now also figured out a way to stay connected with her daughter by staying far away from them.

Just a few days ago, she released a video clip in which she was spotted sitting at the table writing letters with different colors of Sharpies for a fun activity. Each one of those letters had its own separate envelope and sticker sealing it shut.

In one of those letters, she wrote, “Olympia, I miss you so much! Be nice to Grandma and Chip. Love you, Mom, Serena.” Although these are all part of their fun activities, these letters are also meant to keep her kids constantly finding and thinking about their mom.

Reflecting on her thoughts about the same, Serena Williams further added, “If I ever have to go out of town I make sure I write a lot of letters for Olympia to find. Under her bed, in her classroom, in her backpack, at dinner, at breakfast. I think ultimately she gets tired of me.”

Not only Williams, though, even her husband, Alexis Ohanian is often seen taking part in these types of fun activities with their kids. Sources close to the family say Ohanian is such a hands-on dad and so caring and supportive that things have become much easier for Serena Williams to handle both kids.
