In recent scenes on the popular reality singing competition, Thunderstorm Artis delivered a moving rendition of an original song called “Out Of The Blue.”

While it’s always a risk to perform an original song on a stage like American Idol, it can also be a turning point that people will never forget. The emotional acoustic ballad seems to have had a big effect on Ryan Seacrest, as it made him reflect on his single life following this touching moment.

Following the stunning performance on American Idol, Ryan Seacrest said: “Well done. It is a beautiful song with beautiful lyrics. I just printed them out backstage. ‘Your green eyes are soft like the summer and your touch can put out the embers of my burning heart from that gray December.’ I’ve never been more depressed to be single than right now in this moment.”
