Ryan Seacrest fans have all been asking the same question after a new video of him speaking in an interview went viral online

Fans are a little concerned about Ryan Seacrest.

Over the weekend, the long-time ABC host, 50, attended the iHeartRadio Festival, where he was interviewed by the press. However, it wasn’t his answers that got fans talking but rather his gaunt look.

In a video shared to X, the Wheel of Fortune star, who took over from Pat Sajak in 2024, looked smart in a gray set consiting of a jacket worn atop a white T-shirt with matching pants. The interviewer asked Ryan what his dream Las Vegas residency would be, to which he revealed it was Mariah Carey Christmas.

His signature brown quiff was styled in its usual look, but his face looked noticeably slimmer than what fans are used to.

This change didn’t go unnoticed by fans who discussed his changed looks on social media.

“What happened to Ryan Seacrest?” one concerned fan asked alongside a snippet of the interview at the event.

This prompted another fan to point out, “How are his eyes so much bigger now?” as they included an older snap of Ryan to compare. One user suggested, “Botox. Always the same answer,” while someone else argued, “The Ozempic curse strikes again.”

Someone else thought the Americam Idol’s star’s frial look was a result of the camera, saying, “Fish eye lense. Common sense would be nice every now and then.”

This sentiment was echoed by another fan, who wrote, “It’s the camera. It’s giving a fishbowl effect.”

It comes months after Ryan candidly discussed his relationship status and confessed he feels “depressed” about remaining unmarried at his age as he celebrated his 50th birthday.

During a conversation with the Wall Street Journal in 2021, he revealed his desire for children someday, though he acknowledged he was simply concentrating on the present at that point. “I haven’t even gone down that path, which is nuts at my age,” Ryan said. “I think in the last year, it’s become clear to me that yes, I do want to do that. … I want to be available and present.”

Then, back in 2022, he confessed that his previous romantic connections had been sufficient for him at that time.

“I’m happy. I’m happy in the present moment,” he told Lisa Rinna during a previous installment of Live With Kelly and Ryan. “I don’t think about anything else. Why push it? I think having kids at the right time would be great. I have a fantastic family, a very small family. I have a niece, [my sister] Meredith has a daughter. My parents have been married 52 and a half years, so that’s a high bar. So that’s in my head.”

Ryan also revealed that his mother had “given up” on expecting grandchildren from him.
