The Price Is Right fans think host Drew Carey accidentally gave a contestant a hint to help them win a big prize.
Part of Drew Carey’s hosting duties on the CBS game show The Price is Right is to help contestants through games by explaining the rules.
Still, fans believe he may have inadvertently given a player a hint to win a massive prize.
During a 2022 episode, on the first day of Dream Car Week, a contestant named Jenna Loomer had a chance to win a brand-new Porsche.
Jenna was the first contestant of Dream Car Week that year and she was playing the Lucky Seven game, in which a contestant is given seven dollars at first, then the first digit in the price of the car is revealed.
The contestant has to guess the rest of the numbers and reveal the price of the car, but there’s a catch: for each wrong answer, they will lose the amount they missed out on, out of the seven dollars.

For example, if a contestant guesses three and the actual digit is five, they will lose $2.
The goal is to have at least one dollar by the time the price of the car is exposed.
Jenna guessed five to be the second digit in the price of the car, but the correct answer was four so she lost a dollar.
She then guessed seven which was correct as the third digit in the price, with the next number she guessed, five, being incorrect and actually three, making her lose two dollars.
With the last digit left, Jenna had four dollars left and could afford to lose three dollars.
Carey gave her a hint that essentially ensured her win, as he said: “Just to remind you, if you pick five, it could be 6, 7, 8 or 4, 3, 2,” he said.
With that hint, Jenna said five again and it was correct, allowing her to walk away with a brand-new Porsche.
