On Saturday night, April 5, 2025, the Walt Disney Concert Hall held its breath as the special “Yo-Yo Ma, Williams & Dudamel” concert was initiated to honor the legendary composer John Williams – the man behind the timeless film scores of Star Wars, Harry Potter, E.T., Jaws, and more.

Under the passionate and artistic direction of Gustavo Dudamel – music director of the LA Philharmonic – the night took the audience on a journey of emotions, from epic cinematic melodies to lyrical ensembles imbued with the depth of the soul.
