Lisa Marie Presley has spoken out about her brief marriage to Michael Jackson, revealing the King of Pop gave her a horrifying ultimatum after she refused to have his baby

Michael Jackson stunned the globe in the mid-1990s with two headline-grabbing marriages. His 1994 marriage to the daughter of the King was short-lived, ending after just 18 months amidst rampant speculation about the true nature of their relationship and life at Neverland.

MJ and Lisa Marie parted ways in December 1995, and their divorce was finalized by August the next year. In November, Jackson wed Rowe, who was already expecting his first child.

Rowe recounted how she consoled a separated Jackson before offering to bear his children, yet Lisa Marie recalled the events quite differently.

Lisa Marie, already a mother to four-year-old Riley Keough and infant Ben from her previous marriage to Danny Keough, shared the distressing moments when she tried to convey to her new husband that she wasn’t immediately ready to have more children. She also revealed the chilling ultimatums MJ began to present.

She expressed: “I had children, and I knew bringing children into certain circumstances, you have to make sure that everything is safe and secure and OK. And I wanted to make sure he and I were really, really united because we were going to be up against so much.”

Jackson had informed Lisa Marie that another woman, Debbie Rowe, who was an employee of Michael’s dermatologist Arnold Klein, was prepared to have his children if she would not.

Lisa Marie disclosed: “I know she (Rowe) was there the whole time telling him she would do it. He would tell me, ‘If you’re not gonna do it, Debbie said she’ll do it.’”.

“And we would get into arguments because that wasn’t how to handle it. But that’s how he knew how to handle it: ‘If you’re not going to do it, this person will. Are you going to do it or not?’”

At that point, the King of Pop had been acquainted with Debbie for approximately fifteen years, though she later revealed she had proposed to carry his children following his divorce.

Rowe explained: “Michael was divorced, lonely, and wanted children. I was the one who said to him, ‘I will have your babies’. I offered him my womb. It was a gift. It was something I did to keep him happy.”

The pair tied the knot on November 13, 1996 during a spontaneous ceremony at Sydney’s Sheraton Hotel. MJ was touring with his HIStory World Tour at the time.

The guest list was minimal, MJ chose an eight year old ‘Best Man’ and Rowe donned a black outfit.

While Jackson and Lisa Marie notably confirmed their physical relationship during a broadcast interview, Rowe subsequently revealed that she never had intimate relations with Jackson. She explained how she was “impregnated like a horse.”

There appeared to be no romantic connection or intimate bond either privately or publicly.

This arrangement produced two children. Prince Michael arrived on February 13, 1997, with his sister Paris following on April 3, 1998.

A third child, Prince Michael II, was born in 2002 via an unnamed surrogate mother. Rowe’s “gift” was cemented with her 1999 divorce from Jackson, in which she relinquished full custody of their children in exchange for an $8 million settlement (equivalent to $14 million today).

Lisa Marie, still shaken by the disintegration of her own marriage to Jackson, was deeply troubled as she observed his wedding to Rowe and the swift arrival of their two kids.

Having tied the knot with MJ a mere 20 days following her initial divorce, Lisa Marie confessed: “I knew it was a bit of a retaliatory act on his part because I didn’t have a baby (with him).”
