For more than 25 years, Andrea Bocelli has reigned as one of the world’s most beloved voices, blending classical opera with popular song in a way few artists have ever achieved. But behind the iconic Italian tenor stands a family just as musical — and increasingly in the spotlight.

Bocelli is a proud father of three: AmosMatteo, and Virginia, each uniquely gifted, and all carving their own path in music. From duet performances with Disney to a bestselling Christmas album, the Bocelli family is fast becoming a classical-pop dynasty.

Who are Andrea Bocelli’s children?

Andrea Bocelli shares two sons, Amos and Matteo, with his first wife, Enrica Cenzatti, whom he met while performing in piano bars to support his law studies at the University of Pisa. They married in 1992. Amos was born on 22 February 1995, and Matteo on 8 October 1997.

Andrea later found love again with Veronica Berti, whom he married in a lavish Tuscan ceremony in 2014. Their daughter, Virginia, was born on 21 March 2012, two years before the wedding.

Today, all three children have stepped into the limelight — especially Matteo and Virginia, who have performed globally with their father.

Matteo Bocelli — the rising star

At 24 years old, Matteo Bocelli has inherited more than just his father’s striking good looks — he’s also embraced the family’s musical legacy.

Matteo made his public debut in 2018 with the emotional ballad “Fall On Me,” a duet with Andrea that appeared in Disney’s The Nutcracker and The Four Realms. Since then, he’s launched a solo career, performing on international stages and collaborating with artists across genres.

Andrea once told Billboard that while their voices differ technically, they share the same artistic soul: “That is something you are born with.”

Amos Bocelli — the quiet maestro

While Matteo commands the stage, 27-year-old Amos Bocelli works mostly behind the scenes. A classically trained pianist with a degree in piano performance, Amos has occasionally joined his father on stage for intimate TV specials and musical performances.

He also sits on the board of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation (ABF), supporting global education and healthcare projects — a role that shows his commitment to using music and influence for good.

Virginia Bocelli — the youngest star

She may only be 11, but Virginia Bocelli already shines with the same musical poise as her father. Her duets with Andrea, including renditions of “Hallelujah” and “Ich Liebe Dich,” have garnered millions of views online.

Most recently, she joined Andrea in singing “Dare To Be” for the soundtrack of the 2024 biopic Cabrini, proving she’s more than a child prodigy — she’s a performer in her own right.

A Family Christmas — a shared gift to the world

In 2022, Andrea, Matteo, and Virginia united for their first family album, “A Family Christmas,” a heartwarming collection of traditional carols, pop classics, and original songs. From “Feliz Navidad” to “The Greatest Gift,” the trio brought warmth and elegance to the holiday season.

A deluxe edition followed in 2023 with new recordings including “Let It Snow” and “Do You Hear What I Hear” featuring a cappella group Pentatonix.

The album built on the success of Bocelli’s Believe in Christmas virtual concert in 2020, streamed to millions during lockdown.

The Bocelli legacy continues

With Amos at the piano, Matteo on the mic, and Virginia charming the world one duet at a time, the Bocelli family is more than a musical dynasty — they’re a symbol of grace, artistry, and intergenerational passion.

In Andrea’s world, music has always been about connection. Now, through his children, that message resounds louder than ever.
