According to E! News, Seacrest had previously touted his health, saying he was as strong as before. However, the injury altered his view of how old he feels, the article notes.

“That changed since I said that,” Seacrest told E! News. “Now I have tendonitis. So it’s just it’s all going the wrong direction. As soon as I say that, put that in the universe, it all goes backwards.”

He added to E! News: “Now I feel 50 and I’m not yet.”

Seacrest had previously described to E! News how he was trying to hold back the effects of aging, saying he was “over-exercising, eating better.”

“Talk to me on Dec. 25th, the day after I turn 50,” he told the publication about whether he still doesn’t feel his age.

“There are no secrets. So I love to be on the move, I love to be active, I love to exercise, I love to work out,” Seacrest told GQ in 2023. “One of the keys for me is I pack a lunch box with me each day because I never know where I’m going to be for a meal. So I’ve got something with me to keep me moving and it’s the right stuff.

In the GQ article, Seacrest explained his healthy diet. “Like last night I had a a bean burger, so it was, like, vegan. I eat a lot of plant-based things when I’m working, and fish and things like that,” he told the publication.

“For dinner, Seacrest often opts for fresh fish when eating out, showing a preference for lighter, protein-rich foods,” GQ noted.

“When I’m off, I like to cheat. I will go for a great burger for the table. I’ll go for a little bit of pizza. It’s not zero tolerance, but it’s certainly a balance of the good stuff when I’m hustling,” Seacrest told GQ, adding that he likes coffee, vegetable rolls, and kale salads.

He added to GQ, “I eat for the first time in the middle of the day for lunch. And then dinner is usually 6:30—I don’t like to eat too late.”
