When it comes to The Price Is Right, there is a lot of pressure as it is to try and win the mini-games, and eventually, big money in the end. However, sometimes the games themselves malfunction, and throw a wrench into those recent plans. This happened recently in game show scenes, with the contestant blaming the host, Drew Carey. So, what happened?
The Price Is Right: Contestants Must Do Well In The Mini-Games To Advance
As longtime The Price Is Right fans know, there are a lot of hoops to jump through if potential contestants want to win big money and have a shot at the coveted Showcase Showdown. First, people have to secure a ticket to be in the studio during a taping of the popular game show.
After that, they have to beat the odds and be one of the people called to “come on down” for a chance to compete. From there, they have to outbid a panel of other contestants hoping to make it to the big stage, and those odds are also tough.
If that were not enough, supposing they do outbid the panel of other contestants and make it to the big stage, they still have to beat whichever mini-game Drew Carey presents them with. So, there is a lot of luck and a little bit of skill that goes into making it far on The Price Is Right.

Mini-Game Malfunctions On The Game Show, What Happened?
Many of the games on The Price Is Right are hard enough, even without anything extra getting in the way. In recent scenes from the popular game show, a contestant stepped up to the stage to take on Switcheroo.
In this game on The Price Is Right, players have to put blocks in all the right places, and they have a 30-second clock to work with while they do it. They are given a list of items, and they need to put the blocks in the right slots. So, there is a lot of pressure to put things in the correct place.
However, when the 30-second timer was up, the player brought to Drew Carey’s attention that there was an issue with the game board, adding an extra layer of difficulty to things.

The Price Is Right Contestant Blames Drew Carey For Error
Following the game board issue that the contestant brought to Drew Carey’s attention, The Price Is Right host went on to investigate things further. However, when he started fiddling around with the game board and the numbers, he messed with the sticking agent and several blocks fell to the floor.
It turns out, the contestant took this opportunity to take a jab at the host, saying: “You broke it more.” Despite the game malfunction, both the host and the contestant pressed on with things, and she accepted another 30 seconds to switch the blocks around.
However, with or without the game malfunction, she ended up with none of the numbers in the right place after the second attempt. So, all she could do was walk away empty-handed.
