Price is Right fan calls out Drew Carey after host claims ‘nobody ever gets it right’
One viewer tuning in to Friday’s episode of The Price is Right was quick to correct host Drew Carey after he made a pretty bold statement.

A Price is Right fan took Drew Carey to task over a declaration that no one ever easily wins one specific game on the show, taking to social media with the “receipts” proving he was incorrect.
As some players on the CBS show react to their games by refusing to see if they won or lost, and some lose everything on a “gut feeling,” fans are continuing to tune in and learn behind-the-scenes secrets and see major prizes being handed out to those who play the game well.
However, longtime fans with sharp memories are also making sure to call out when Carey makes an incorrect statement on the show.
This occurred during the Friday, June 13 episode as the second player of the day, Aurora, went up to play for a chance to win a Hyundai Elantra SE car.
She was set to play Cover-Up, a game in which she had to correctly guess the numbers in the car’s price to win.

As he introduced the game and explained how to play, Carey told Aurora that if she was able to correctly guess the price in its entirety on her first try, she would go down in game show history.
“Now, if you get it right the first time, you might be the first one in Price is Right history,” he said. “Nobody ever gets it right on the first try.”
However, one fan disagreed, quickly taking to X (formerly Twitter) to call out that it had happened.
“Actually, Drew…someone HAS won the Cover Up game on the first attempt…and I brought receipts!” they wrote alongside a link to a video.

The clip showed an episode from June 12, 2007, exactly 18 years prior, and when Bob Barker was still the show’s host.
The player, Anna, took to the stage with the hopes of winning a Chevy Impala–and she managed to correctly guess the price on the first try, of $21,495.
In Aurora’s case, unfortunately, she did not guess correctly on her first try–though she was able to continue playing by getting two numbers right.
She wound up losing the game though, after guessing incorrectly on the final number of the price–saying the car was $24,568, when it was valued at $24,168.
