André Rieu Prepares for Concert of the Century: Manoe Konings, Emma Kook and Gheorghe Zamfir to Appear Together
Amsterdam – The world of classical music is shocked by the news: André Rieu, the “king of the waltz,” has just officially announced a special concert that will take place this fall at the Johan Cruyff Arena, Netherlands. What has made fans go crazy is not only the huge scale expected to attract more than 60,000 spectators, but also the guest list: Manoe Konings – the beloved “Lady in Blue” of the Johann Strauss Orchestra, young violin talent Emma Kook, and Pan flute legend – Gheorghe Zamfir.

The concert, titled “Symphony of Eternity,” promises to be an unprecedented event in Rieu’s career. According to the production team, the stage will be designed as a magnificent baroque palace, with crystal chandeliers, double spiral staircases and 360-degree screens surrounding the stadium, transforming the entire stadium into a classical ballroom.
Manoe Konings, who always brings warm clarinet and contagious smiles, will perform the opening solo – “Ave Maria” in a new arrangement combining clarinet and strings. Immediately after, Emma Kook – a 19-year-old “violin angel” – will take the stage in a sparkling white dress to duet with Rieu on “The Blue Danube Waltz.”

The emotional climax is promised to come when Gheorghe Zamfir, once known as the “Pan Flute King,” appears. The melodious sound of his Pan flute in Ennio Morricone’s “Chi Mai” will blend with the Johann Strauss orchestra, creating a magical atmosphere, as if taking the audience into a surreal world amidst shimmering yellow lights.
At the press conference, André Rieu emotionally shared:
“This is not just a concert. This is a dream that I want to make come true – where generations of artists stand on the same stage to tell the world that music has no borders, no age, only love and connection.”

Tickets for this event will go on sale globally from next week, and according to experts’ predictions, all tickets will be “sold out” within hours – as often happens with André Rieu shows.
Fans everywhere are counting down the days. Many music forums have called this “concert of the century”, where a legend, companions, and new talents together created an eternal moment in the history of popular classical music.
