The Price Is Right is set to shake it up with brand-new games, and themed episodes after recent behind-the-scenes changes following host Drew Carey’s return to the show.

The Price is Right show involves contestants competing against each other to accurately identify how much something is priced to win cash and prizes. Now, John Quinn will be taking on additional duties as the CBS program’s showrunner and executive producer for The Price is Right.

In the show’s new season, which comes after Drew revealed how he thought he was “going to jail once,” viewers will be seeing a new range of specifically themed episodes. Upcoming themes will feature Breast Cancer Awareness, Valentine’s Day, Pet Adoption Week, Mother’s Day, and School’s Out.

Furthermore, the game show’s host, Drew Carey, will be introducing a new pricing competition for the CBS game show.

According to Deadline, The Price is Right’s new season is scheduled to be released in September 2025.

The new changes are coming in the wake of the backlash that The Price is Right faced last year when the show didn’t acknowledge the one-year anniversary of its former host Bob Barker’s death on its social media accounts.

Bob hosted the show for 35 years before he retired in 2018, and gave the mic to the 66-year-old comedian.

Drew has fun on and off the air. The U.S. Sun reported in May that Drew danced the night away and chatted with women at an EDM music festival.

Drew was spotted with his arms draped around an unknown blonde in the early morning. They smiled and took photos together amid groups of people.

There was an eyewitness who revealed to The U.S. Sun, “many people were shocked to see Drew in the crowd, especially considering his age, but he was the life and soul of the event.

He seemed to be having the best time, dancing and laughing with a group of friends all night.

“Plenty of women were going up to him and flirting, he appeared to enjoy the attention and was very friendly.”
