TikTok Star and Organ Virtuoso Anna Lapwood Joins Classic FM for New Easter Mini-Series
Anna Lapwood MBE, celebrated organist, conductor, and social media sensation, is set to bring her infectious passion for classical music to the airwaves as she joins Classic FM to host a brand-new three-part series over Easter weekend.
Titled The Royal Albert Hall of Fame with Anna Lapwood, the mini-series will air from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 April, between 9pm and 10pm each night. With over 1.1 million followers on TikTok, Anna is widely known for her engaging performances and has become a powerful voice in modern classical music.
This special series marks 25 years since the first ever Classic FM Live concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Across three hour-long episodes, Anna will celebrate the venue’s extraordinary legacy, sharing captivating stories, iconic performances, and her own behind-the-scenes insights as Associate Artist of the Hall.
The series opens on Friday 18 April with a look back at the venue’s origins, from the laying of its foundation stone by Queen Victoria in 1867 to its early musical highlights. Music from the first concerts held at the Hall—including Elgar’s stirring Pomp and Circumstance March No.1—will feature prominently. Later episodes will delve into the Hall’s quirks and curiosities in The Weird and the Wonderful, culminating in a grand finale, All Time Greats.

The series coincides with Classic FM’s 30th annual Hall of Fame countdown, airing from Friday 18 to Monday 21 April, 9am to 9pm each day. This listener-voted event reveals the UK’s top 300 classical pieces, hosted by a star-studded line-up including Dan Walker, Margherita Taylor, and Aled Jones.
