Taylor Swift’s latest album is barely a week old, but it’s already causing plenty of commotion. In the latest turn of events, the singer’s former close pal Blake Lively has reportedly been left “devastated” about the new release. Insiders say the actress feels “humiliated” by songs that fans think are about her.

Move over, Charli XCX – looks like there’s another Taylor Swift feud grabbing the spotlight. According to insiders, Blake Lively is “heartbroken and humiliated” about her friendship breakup with the singer.

Taylor released her new album The Life of a Showgirl on October 3. The record’s release has predictably left plenty of drama in its wake. That includes Taylor’s alleged feud with Blake. While the pair were once really close – Taylor is even godmother to Blake’s children – their friendship is said to have suffered catastrophic collapse.

Now the actress is reportedly upset that a few of Taylor’s new songs seem to be about her. Many fans have concluded that songs “Ruin the Friendship” and “CANCELLED!” are “very thinly veiled” attacks at the actress.

A friend close to both women told Radar Online: “Blake is devastated – this isn’t something she can easily move past. She really loved Taylor and never thought their friendship would fall apart like this. Hearing those songs has hit her hard, and seeing people online convinced they’re about her just makes it even more painful.”

The pair’s fallout apparently arose from Blake’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni. His team claimed she tried to pull Taylor into the fight – something sources say really upset the pop star.

The pals are said to have reconnected earlier this year, but the songs seem to suggest that Taylor isn’t ready to make up. A source told the publication: “Blake still can’t wrap her head around how one poorly phrased message destroyed their whole friendship. She keeps telling people she loves Taylor and wishes they could reconnect. But those who know Taylor say that once she’s closed a door, it stays shut – she doesn’t go back.”
