‘Love and Hip Hop’ stars’ son named in police report in shooting death of rapper T-Hood


Gwinnett Police said the shooting is being investigated as a possible self-defense case.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett Police are investigating the deadly shooting of Atlanta rapper T-Hood, whose death is connected to a ‘Love and Hip Hop’ star’s son, a police report shows.

On August 9, police were called to a home located in the 3900 block of Lee Road in unincorporated Snellville at around 7 p.m. in reference to the shooting. Once officers arrived at the home, they discovered 33-year-old T-Hood, whose legal name is Tevin Hood, had been shot.

 

Police released more information regarding this case on Wednesday, August 13, stating it is being investigated as a possible self-defense case.

On the night of the shooting, a police report indicates 24-year-old Ky Frost was involved. He remained on the scene and continued to work with investigators. Frost is the son of ‘Love and Hip Hop’ stars Rasheeda and Kirk Frost.

Police indicated in the preliminary phase, evidence indicated a domestic disturbance occurred at the house, resulting in a female victim sustaining physical injuries.

At this time, there is no evidence to suggest the involvement of additional individuals beyond the ones in the house.
